Our mission is to publish creative teen work in any form. However, we are a small, independent publication, so we do have some limitations to work with. To ensure that your submission has the best chance of being accepted, please consider the following guidelines:
Length/size: Recommended length for prose is 1500 words. Recommended length for poetry is 2 pages. Any photographs, comics, or artwork should not exceed 8.5x11-inch dimensions.
Format: Please type all stories and poems. Artwork must be in black and white.
Deadline: We accept submissions year-round. Submit your writing and artwork by Please submit by Friday, February 28, 2014 for inclusion in our Spring 2014 issue.
Method of submission: You may bring your submission to the Youth Desk at the Cherry Hill Public Library or e-mail it to bridgeszine@gmail.com.
Also note that Bridges is by teens, for teens and so we will only accept your submission if you are between the ages of 13-18.
